Tarras Tweed
"beautifully scottish"
A collection of traditional tweed designs woven from Shetland Wool to give a kind handling fabric suitable for a wide range of end uses, be it apparel, soft furnihings or craft work. The yarn shades used in these cloths are inspired by the wild lands around the Tarras Water, the hills and fells,their flora and fauna,the seasonal changes of hue that are played out beneath a vast and unpredictable sky.
Provenance.
Unlike much of the fabric, throws and rugs which you see for sale on-line and in many of the "tourist shops" around the land, ours are genuinely produced here.
